So I just got back from a wonderfull week in sunny Ft. Lauderdale florida. My roomie Wendy williams and myself packed up and hit the road about a week ago. It was nice to get on the road and out of the dreary wether and snow of Kentucky. The drive went pretty fast and it seemed like we were in Atlanta in no time at all. The day ended with a stop off in Ganisville after 11 hours of petal to the metal. The next day started with a small drive and in about 5 hours we arrived in our destination Beautiful Ft. Lauderdale. We stayed in a beautiful hotel with a gorgeous pool and spa. Resting was the only thing on my mind as we setteled in and started soaking up the vibrant atmosphere of Florida. We had a few things on our agenda… But first and foremost was hitting the beach, ang hit it we did!!! It was a gorgeous day as we layed out and relaxed I attemped to brave the water but in the end it was a battle I did not win. By the time we finally decided to leave I was a very bright shade of red…I guess I forgot about the invention of sunscreen. Another day of relaxing and enjoying ourself, all while tending to our sunburns. Next day we got up early and enjoyed a nice breakfest, Then off to the movies. Avatar 3D!!! all I can say is WOW what an awesome movie!!! It was almost as good as seeing wendy in the goofy 3D glasses. More relaxing more pool…And a very nice dinner start to bring the week to a close. It was a very fun week, I cant wait to get back but hopefully this time I’ll remember sunscreen!!!
